HOW IT WORKS

A revolutionary hair treatment service that was originally developed in Brazil, Luxury Keratin Smoothing Treatment infuses and bonds KWS TriProtein Complex into and onto the cuticle layer of the hair shaft.
Combined with amino acids, silicones and anti-static agents, the results are quite simply remarkable; incredible shine, smoothness, enhanced strength and condition, frizz-free and humidity proofed. The hair can be straightened around 80-90% using the classic application or natural wave and volume can be retained with the natural application.

The hair will be in better condition than when you started and incredibly the treatment works more effectively the more damaged the hair is.
Unlike chemical straighteners, Luxury Keratin Smoothing Treatment does not chemically rearrange the internal disulphide bridge structure of the hair and it can be used on coloured, foiled and chemically straightened hair.

CLASSIC AND NATURAL APPLICATIONS

KERATIN SMOOTHING TREATMENT CLASSIC APPLICATION

Our Classic Application is designed for clients who want their hair as straight, as smooth and as sleek as possible. A typical Classic Application needs to be conducted meticulously and depending on the length and density of the hair will typically take 2 to 3 hours and will last 3-4 months.

KERATIN SMOOTHING TREATMENT NATURAL APPLICATION

Our Natural Application is designed for clients who want
the improved hair condition and smoothness, the humidity protection and time saved when styling but want to retain some wave and volume for a more natural look. A typical Natural Application will take 60 to 90 minutes and will last approximately 6 weeks.

MAINTAINING A LUXURY KERATIN SMOOTHING TREATMENT

A Luxury Keratin Smoothing Treatment is virtually maintenance free but some simple guidelines should be followed to ensure maximum longevity. Trichovedic Sulphate and Sodium Chloride free aftercare products should be used to avoid degrading and removing the proteins which have been bonded to the cuticle layer. Trichovedic prescriptive aftercare products are available for various hair and scalp types and different hair colours. You can shampoo and condition your hair as soon as you wish after your treatment and all you will need to do after shampooing is to quickly blow-dry or iron your hair for it to look as smooth and frizz free as when you left the salon. Swimming in salt or chlorinated water will degrade the treatment and reduce its longevity.

Prior to swimming, a generous quantity of Trichovedic Glossing Serum should be distributed through the hair or a swimming cap used. Rinse hair with fresh water after swimming.

AFTERCARE

Correct aftercare of Luxury KST is absolutely essential for the optimum quality, integrity and longevity of the treatment.

Aftercare shampoos, conditioners, treatments, serums and styling aids should be FREE of SULPHATES and SODIUM CHLORIDE (salt) as these chemicals will degrade and remove the Keratin bonded to the cuticle layer of the hair. The majority of salon shampoos contain sodium or ammonium lauryl sulphate and many of them also contain sodium chloride (salt). Trichovedic has the most comprehensive and prescriptive range of KST aftercare products, which are Sulphate and Sodium Chloride Free.

There are shampoos and matching treatment conditioners for blonde, brunette and red hair, fine hair, scalp health and dandruff. Rich in KWS TriProtein Complex and natural herb and plant extracts they will ensure that the KST will remain in a healthy, shiny, frizz-free condition for the optimum length of time. Formaldehyde is not an ingredient in Trichovedic Luxury Keratin Smoothing Treatment although trace quantities can be the result of other ingredients in the formulation.

Due to the past controversy surrounding Keratin Treatment products and formaldehyde, we have conducted both content and air sample testing of Luxury Keratin Smoothing Treatment to ensure that any trace levels of formaldehyde are substantially lower than those permitted.
